When our children were in elementary and middle school, we started participating in KFMB’s semiannual town trash-offs. We also were very active in Scouts. I served as a leader and an archery instructor. My two oldest children graduated from Lewisville High School and my three youngest graduated from Flower Mound High School.
"I began picking up trash and recycling in a greater area and more consistently when I was in charge of the Fall Festival at our church. I sold cans and boxes to earn money to expand the games and prizes.
"I started a business known as Linda’s In-Home Adult Care in 2000 and have recently retired. I am now enjoying volunteer activities such as the KFMB board, which I joined in 2018 and am currently serving as secretary. I also keep busy with home improvement projects, travel, and my grandchildren."
